From The President – May 2016

Hi Everyone,

This month saw the first meeting of the new committee and what a great meeting it was!! Plenty to talk about and lots of new ideas which hopefully we can talk to you about at a later date.

 

One of the things that came up was next year’s program (yes – we need to start thinking about that now!!) and the submissions. I’m sure that elsewhere in this newsletter will be information about how to apply, but all I will say is please get submissions in as early as you can. Our program for next year can only be as good as the quality of submissions we receive, so prospective directors – get your thinking caps on!!

 

On Sunday 12th June we’ll be holding the sausage sizzle at Bunnings, Joondalup to raise some much needed funds. Please give either Meg Considine or Kim Elford a call if you can help out. If you can’t help on the stall, then please get to Bunnings Joondalup on the day and buy a sausage or two!!!

 

The next show up is the “Old Time Music Hall”, directed by Shelley and Stage Managed by yours truly. It’s a while since I’ve been involved in a production so it’s great to be back in the thick of things. Rehearsals are going well and there’s fun for young and old so get your tickets quickly!!!
