It’s time again to be thinking about our seasons for next year—2017, and we encourage all new, experienced and enthusiastic directors to submit plays and musicals they would like to have produced on the Limelight Stage.

If you are interested in submitting, please supply 2 scripts, plus CD’s if submitting a musi- cal, so that the selection process can get started as soon as possible. Your scripts will be read by our 5 reading committee members who will then meet to discuss a balanced program of plays and musicals for the coming year.

When submitting your scripts, please also include an outline of how you envisage the staging of your production—type of set, special requirements, etc. But most particularly your ‘vision’ for the production. This will give our reading committee a better understanding of your play or musical. If you are submitting for the first time, it would be helpful for you to include a theatre CV of your experience.

Andrew Brown will be coordinating the reading committee and will be happy to accept your submissions ASAP. Submissions should have been received by the end of July, so if you haven’t acted yet, DO IT NOW!!
