Here’s our preliminary calendar of productions & events in 2017.
JANUARY
Wednesday 4th Rehearsals begin for “Moonlight & Magnolias” an hilarious play by Ron Hutchinson and Directed by Carryn McLean. Note: Auditions for this production will be held in November – click here for further information.
Saturday 21st – Awards Night, featuring the Kalamunda Swing Band
And including a light supper
Sunday 22nd – Afternoon performance of the Kalamunda Swing Band

FEBRUARY
Thursday 23rd Opening night of “Moonlight & Magnolias”
Performance dates—23rd, 24th, 25th & Matinee Sunday 26th February
Plus 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th March
MARCH
Friday & Saturday 10th & 11th—Wanneroo Secondary College will perform in the Limelight Theatre “Title of Show”
Monday 13th Rehearsals begin for “It runs in the family” a delightful farce directed by Susan Vincent
Saturday 18th An evening of entertainment! (more details soon)
APRIL
Thursday 20th Opening night of “It runs in the family”
Performance dates—20th, 21st, 22nd & matinee Sunday 23rd April
MAY A series of workshops between the 1st & 19th May will be held in the theatre exploring both the technical aspects of live theatre and developing the scripts of local writers.
Saturday 20th Rehearsals will commence rehearsals for an original musical, “Greenwicks” written by John McPherson
JUNE Performance dates: between the 7th & 17th June
Sunday 18th Mater Dei College bump into the theatre to complete their rehearsals for “Grease”
Performance dates: 23rd, 24th (2), 26th and 27th June
JULY
Saturday 1st An evening of entertainment! (more details later)
Monday 3rd Rehearsals begin for “Let the Sunshine” to be directed by Tim Riessen
Performance dates—
AUGUST 17th, 18th, 19th & matinee Sunday 20th
23rd, 24th, 25th & 26th
As one production bumps out on Sunday 27th, so another bumps in and starts the rehearsals.
Monday 28th Rehearsals begin for “Pygmalion” by George Bernard Shaw and to be directed by Jacob Turner.
SEPTEMBER Rehearsals continue
OCTOBER Performance dates for the “Pygmalion”
Thursday 12th Opening night, plus 13th, 14th & matinee Sunday 15th
And 18th, 19th, 20th & 21st
Monday 23rd Rehearsals begin for “BFG” (Big Friendly Giant) and delightful adaptation of Roald Dahl’s book, and sure to appeal to the whole family
NOVEMBER
Thursday 30th Opening night of “BFG” directors Jen Edwards & David Nelson
DECEMBER Performance dates—1st, 2nd, & matinee Sunday 3rd
Plus 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th December.
Monday 25th CHRISTMAS DAY!
