Our AGM will be on the 29th March this year and many positions will be vacated, and nominations called. Next month we’ll bring you full details of the nomination process and the various roles to be filled.

As with most organisations where we rely on volunteers, and because the few take on many jobs, we tend to exhaust the willing hands who often find themselves overwhelmed.

The executive structure of the committee will remain the same, but with specifically defined roles.  It is the previous “5 committee members without portfolio” where the biggest change has been mooted. These roles will now be Membership Secretary/Volunteer Coordinator, Theatre Manager, Publicity Coordinator, Production Manager and Theatre Maintenance Manager.

Non-Committee positions also need to be filled—a new position of Webmaster, plus Wardrobe, Front of House, Lighting, Sound, Properties and Soft Furniture Managers.

So, please think about where you might be able to fit in to the scheme of things and let 2017 be the year you make a commitment to Wanneroo Repertory Inc.
