President’s Spot – Feb/March

Hello members!
We have had a busy start to our year, completing the upgrade and redecorating of the foyer – it looks stunning! We also staged “The Princess Dream” in January which was enjoyed by the young and not so young alike. What a lovely piece of theatre Amy Sales, her cast and crew presented – reminded me of the pantomimes I used to see in the UK – congratulations Amy!

Our next production is the drama, “DEATH OF A SALESMAN” and I would encourage you to book sooner rather than later! This will be followed in May with “CAUGHT IN THE NET” a delightful farce. In June we have the (adults only) “A FAIRY TALE OF SORTS”. Unfortunately the Woodvale Secondary College’s production will not be staged as previously advertised – so watch this space for an announcement about a production in July.

Our AGM this year will be a little later than usual and we will be looking to fill several positions on Wednesday 4th April. So if you have the time and the inclination to get involved in the running of the club, talk to one of the current committee members – WE NEED YOU!!
